Frequently Asked Questions

  • This workshop is specifically designed for elementary school children (Grades K-5) who may be experiencing school related anxiety, school hesitation, a lack of social confidence, or 'jitters' about the upcoming school year.

  • To ensure the sessions are developmentally appropriate and socially engaging, your child will be grouped with peers close to their own age. Depending on enrollment, we typically offer a Lower Elementary (K-2) and an Upper Elementary (3-5) group.

While the primary slot is currently 12:00 PM, additional time slots may be added based on age-group enrollment to keep group sizes small and effective.

  • Because the curriculum is designed to build on itself—moving from social confidence to managing jitters and then building emotional armor—we highly recommend attending all three sessions. To maintain the group’s focus and ensure every child gets the full benefit of the skills taught, we do not offer 'single-session' registration. This also helps the children feel more comfortable and safe with the same group of peers each week.

  • The workshop begins July 18th at 12:00 PM. We meet for 50 minutes over three consecutive Saturdays:

    • July 18th

    • July 25th

    • August 1st

    • For the Workshop: Registration is non-refundable after July 10th as spots are limited.

    • For Individual Sessions: I require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee.

  • I am an out-of-network provider. While I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide a Superbill monthly that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend contacting your provider to verify your benefits.
